Maddy & Michael were married at Lismore House in Martinborough. Theirs was the last wedding I photographed before New Zealand went into Level 4 lockdown during the Covid19 pandemic. There was lots of hand sanitiser, many elbow bumps, and an amended table plan. I think the biggest blow was the 10 guests that couldn’t attend. Despite this stressful lead up, these two had the most beautiful wedding, and damn their dance floor went off. Way back when they inquired they mentioned they’d be having a pub quiz during the reception so I pretty much knew they were totally awesome at that point.
